Volume Licensing Options

Two Protect Plus Licensing Programs offer flexible solutions that adapt to the purchasing requirements of each client.  With options available for companies of all sizes and special pricing for government and educational clients, Protect Plus Licensing enables organizations to protect their networks and desktops from the edge to the core while enjoying the benefits and price advantages of volume-purchase programs.

Under the programs, licensed products are bundled with Gold-level Technical Support – one year of unlimited, 24x7 technical support and software maintenance/upgrades that ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.  No contract is required for either program, and consistent terms and conditions make procurement easy.

Perpetual Plus Program

Available from eleven nodes and up, Perpetual Plus is a simple licensing program that provides customers with perpetual ownership of the product license along with one year of support.  Multiple price bands increase your discount as your order volume increases.  Refer to the program detail page for more information.

Subscription Plus Program

Designed for larger organizations, Subscription Plus requires a minimum purchase of 2,000 nodes and grants a two-year subscription license with continuous product support.  Refer to the program detail page for more information.

Other Purchasing Options

McAfee addresses the small and midsize markets with solutions and discounts as well.  Preconfigured Multi-Node Packs for anti-virus products are available for up to fifty users.  For organizations that lack the resources or the budget to implement a best-practice security solution, McAfee’s Managed Service Program provides an outsourced online solution for desktops and file servers, anti-virus and desktop firewall protection, and anti-virus e-mail screening and vulnerability assessment.  Refer to the program detail page for more information.

Perpetual Plus Program

Available from eleven nodes upward, Perpetual Plus Licensing Program is an enhanced volume license program providing customers of all sizes with a fast and easy procurement option for purchasing McAfee software licenses and appliances.  This program combines a perpetual license with one year of 24/7 product support.  Further value is offered through the reorder feature, allowing customers to purchase additional software and support at their highest previous volume discount band.

Reorders

To make it easy, convenient, and budget-friendly for growing companies to procure security products, the Perpetual Plus Licensing Program allows customers to place additional orders at the volume discount band of their largest previous order.

The reorder option allows customers to make subsequent purchases of any product available on the Subscription Plus or Perpetual Plus price list at the band level of their initial or previous order for a minimum of five nodes.  The valid license Grant Number of the order must be referenced on all reorders.

Please note that reorders are not cumulative, nor do they guarantee a customer a specific price.

  • Customers are responsible for using the most appropriate Grant Number.
  • Reorders utilize the SKU of the band being honored.
  • Reorders are for license and support offered on the McAfee software.
  • Perpetual Plus Licensing Program price list or Subscription Plus Program price list.
  • License Grant Numbers can be used to place a reorder purchase for a maximum of two years.
  • Reorders are honored within the country of original purchase.
  • Reorders are honored for the entity that established the band level.
