E5000 Solution Components
The E5000 combines two HP E5460sb server blades and a Large Form Factor (LFF) disk storage drawer into a single enclosure. For the E5300 model, the disk storage drawer is configured with twelve 1TB Midline Serial Attached SCSI (MDL-SAS) disks. For the E5500 models, the disk storage drawer can be configured with sixteen 1TB or 2TB LFF MDL-SAS disks. The E5700 models use a total of forty 1TB or 2TB LFF MDL-SAS disks. In the E5700 configuration sixteen disks are located in the LFF disk storage drawer and the other twenty four disks are located in two E5000 Expansion Nodes.
