The Enterprise Subscription Agreement
The EA Subscription Agreement provides every benefit of the standard EA at a lower cost because you are not purchasing ownership of the license. Your subscription entitles you to use the licensed Microsoft product(s) throughout a three-year contract term (academia has an optional one-year term). This agreement is often used by companies in transition or for company divisions that are newly acquired or soon to be divested.
Select License Program
The Select License program is designed for corporate, government, and academic organizations that have 250 or more desktop PCs and mixed product and purchasing requirements. With Select License, your organization receives a volume price level for each pool of products selected (applications, systems, and servers) based on a three-year software forecast. This program offers a flexible and cost-effective way to make license purchases on a pay-as-you-go basis.
CompuCom manages the Select License for your company. Access to current account status, order functions, and reporting utilities is available through the CompuCom Client Portal. Because CompuCom represents hundreds of software publishers, you enjoy the convenience and leverage of a single vendor for all software purchases.
Select License benefits include:
- An incentive-based price structure that extends the best price based on your organization’s technology needs and purchase volume.
- An annual payment plan if you add Software Assurance at the time of purchase. Software Assurance helps you increase business productivity by ensuring access to the most current Microsoft products and solutions, and by maximizing the skills and capabilities of your organization’s IT staff and end users through training and support.
- A flexible, pay-as-you-go purchasing model that gives you the freedom to purchase the software licenses you need, when you need them, so you can start using the software immediately.
- Access to the CompuCom Client Portal, a secure Web site that offers electronic access to purchase history, order confirmations, and other helpful resources that help you manage your licenses with ease and confidence.
- Instant access to hundreds of software training titles so that you can easily evaluate and deploy the Microsoft products, and train your employees.

Services Provider License Agreement
The Services Provider License Agreement (SPLA) enables services providers and independent software vendors (ISVs) to license Microsoft products on a monthly basis over a three-year term and to use these products to deliver software services and hosted applications to their customers. CompuCom supports the services providers and ISVs with comprehensive system design, development, implementation, and hosting services to enable the hosted application business model. By leveraging the efficiency and convenience of a single IT vendor like CompuCom, service providers and ISVs can focus on the objectives of their business.
Benefits of the Program
This licensing program is specifically designed for Service Providers and ISVs:
- The most current product versions – With SPLA, service providers have access to the most current versions of the products in the program for a monthly price.
- A flexible cost structure – The SPLA offers a monthly usage-based cost. You pay only for what was made available to clients using your hosted application in the previous month.
- Pricing stability – SPLA price changes (if any) will only occur on an annual basis in January.
Use rights protection – Product use rights are specific and will not change for the duration of the program.
- Cash-flow management – With SPLA, service providers have near-zero start-up costs; each month they only pay for any licenses made available to their customers accessing their services.
Academic SKUs – academic pricing on selected server products is available when service providers deploy services to qualified education customers.
- Worldwide distribution – your company can use Microsoft software products to sell your services to customers in any part of the world, regardless of your location.
